SUPPORT THE LAKE FOREST 8!

What is Huntingdon Life Sciences?

HLS is an animal testing laboratory that is responsible for the deaths of 500 animals every day. Employees have been exposed in 6 undercover investigations punching 4 month old beagles in the face, dissecting fully conscious monkeys, and falsifying research data.

Who are the Lake Forest 8?

Eight animal rights activists arrested in the suburbs of Chicago for their involvement in anti-HLS protest activity. The activists received four charges each for holding standard, constitutionally protected demonstrations against supporters of HLS. Monetary support is needed for their legal defense and to cover travel expenses for 4 out of state activists.

I shot this protest for IDA (In Defense of Animals) back in February. I decided to put it up now because… Well mostly because I have a blog site and you don?t so there! No, really because I spoke at James Logan High School in Union City yesterday where they screened this for their veggie club. All the kids from the protest were so inspiring I thought everyone should see them! On a side note we were boycotting the Chinese fur industry because they skin cats and dogs alive, and then don?t even have the balls to eat them, they just wear them. I know it?s really f**ked up. You can take a look at what they do to these beautiful cats and dogs here. And the funny guy in the “Vegan Muscle Power” shirt is non-other than Gabe Quash of Undercover TV… Gota love him for all the great heart clenching footage he provides for my videos. And the music, of course, is once again brought to you by the great producer John Feldmann. Many thank yous to John and Charlie of Goldfinger for the songs!

Hello everyone! On Friday, September 8th PeTA protested “An Elegant Affair Opera Ball 2006″ in San Francisco. Why you may ask? Well Burberry clothing was a gift sponsor. Burberry may be best known for its distinctive plaid, but its use of real fur is making the design house synonymous with cruelty to animals. Burberry continues to design with fur despite the fact that leading clothing retailers like J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Ralph Lauren, and others have pulled fur from their stores forever. Animals raised on fur farms are kept in small, filthy cages and exposed to all weather extremes before being killed by gassing, neck-breaking, or genital electrocution. Learn more about what?s wrong with fur at http://www.furisdead.com/, or if you watch this you may get a good idea.
